Update August 22, 2006:  It looks like with the introduction of "Windows Live", another "imporvement" has been to disable the <dynsrc> tag which I had been using to insert videos into blog entries. This means that videos will no longer play in blog entries -- you'll have to find them in the video list and click on the link.  It also looks like we can no longer choose our own blog entry backgrounds because the code messes up the space layout in a serious way (which is why all blog entries displayed, have the boring default space background). Windows live?!?  GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!    Two thumbs down!!!
 
If you have audio or video problems with my space, please read the following!
The Windows Media Player
The media player (above) is set to play automatically.  At present, it contains three home-made handi-cam videos I took of my boyz jamming.  You can stop and start the videos and skip to the next song using the control buttons on the media player.
 
You can also see these videos (and others) by selecting them individually from the Videos module list (upper right area of page). Clicking a video in the list will open a separate media player window.

Videos with sound in the blog entries
If all the videos start playing at once as you scroll down, creating an audio-nightmare, hit the Esc key -- everything will stop, including the media player. 
 
You can manually start each video by right-clicking over it and selecting "play". You can also right-click to stop a video instead of hitting Esc. 

Can't see the videos?
Sometimes, the videos don't load properly (bandwith issue I assume) -- you can tell if, instead of a black square where the video goes, you just get a thin border. If this happens, without scrolling back up, refresh your screen (in IE, click the button at the top with the two curvy green arrows!).
 
You can also watch the videos by clicking on them from the video list module (upper right corner of page).

Yes, you can save the videos
If you right-click over a video, you will also have the option to save it to your computer.  Be my guest!  But please *save it to your computer* -- don't link to it as this causes bandwidth problems.
 
Songs and Lyrics
In the lists of music I have posted, the one entitled "Music: Songs & Lyrics" will open web-pages I made with the lyrics and the audio files embedded.  At some point I might get around to adding guitar chords as well. The other music lists will open media player windows so you can listen to the songs, but no lyrics pages (yet!).

If a video doesn't play, or it's too dark to see, or the sound sucks... please leave a comment and let me know so I can try to fix it!
