Just an important update/note with respect to an earlier blog entry you can view HERE... I gather that some of you downloaded the trial version of the game (Beetle) and became hopelessly addicted (so sorrrry, Diane!)!
I just learned that if you buy the game through TWILIGHT GAMES, it means that the hard-working, two-man team (Al & Steve) who developed and wrote the program (Al is my boys' dad) get a significantly greater percentage of the $20 you pay for it than if you buy the game from any other site (at other sites, most of the money goes to the company that owns the website and promotes the game, rather than to the guys who did all the work writing the program!).
How to buy from Twilight Games (the website of Al and Steve): You will notice that Beetle Bomp does not have a "buy" link beside it. You just download the game, then at the end of the game there is an option to buy. This will take you to the iWIN site, and you purchase it from iWin (but because you originally downloaded it from Twilight Games, this is recognized by iWIN through cookies or whatever, and Al and Steve get 50% of your $20 instead of the significantly lesser amount they'd get if you downloaded/bought it from another site). The same applies to other games on the Twilight Games website.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up! Thanks for reading.
And if you're trying to figure out what to get that game-loving friend or relative for Christmas, it would make a great gift!
How old is that kid who plays guitar? I'm fairly impressed, I always wished I started at a younger age but my parents wouldn't invest in the equipment until I got a job then they finally decided they'd chip in.. ARGH!!
